Another busy weekend with ballet, hair dressers, cinema and another birthday party where Elsa came to visit.
Friends, birthday parties and Frozen - "life on a stick " (livet på en pinne ) according to Vera!

Bank Holiday Weekend
A longed for three-day weekend where we've taken it easy as the weather's not been brilliant 2 but still manages a fair bit.
On Saturday Vera had her ballet as per usual and on the afternoon we did a big shop and chilled at home.
Om Sunday we headed into town for a bit of shopping, mainly for Vera as tends to be the case most of the time!
We had a great lunch at Zizzi's in Leopold Square and in the afternoon I dusted off my sewing machine and made some cushions for downstairs.
Today we headed to Ikea in Nottingham, alongside half of the local population.
At least we were early! We power shopped (!) and picked up fabric, the usual house stuff and an outdoor bench, my birthday present from mum and dad.
Considering it's a 40 min in each direction, we didn't do too badly and were back home again in just over three hours.
After a late lunch, Vera and I assembled the bench, a great lesson in reading instructions, patience and being Swedish!
Mark was busy in the garden with his new raised flower beds.
I then made a cushion for my bench, really pleased and look forward to many sunny mornings with a book and a cup of coffee
