I can't believe my little baby turned one recently. He's turned into a happy, smiley, chatty and adorable boy and we couldn't be prouder of him.
We were so lucky to have my mum and sister as well as niece Elsie and nephew Folke here for almost a week to spend some quality time and celebrate him!
Vera and Folke also managed a few discos with glow sticks, playing in the park and the school run! Vera really enjoyed showing Folke her school and playground although she wasn't best pleased that she had to go to school when we were all off.
Vera and Folke played so well together and Elsie ran around with Alfred trying to keep up.
Such a wonderful time and we're lucky to have family to come and visit!

New year!
I've been trying to add some photos from Christmas but for some reason I'm having problems uploading from this app. And I'm far too lazy to start up my laptop!
We've had a lovely and relaxing Christmas and enjoying lots of down time with Vera and Alfred. Vera and I went to the theatre and then she was lucky enough to get to go to see Disney on Ice- Frozen with a friend. We've also been ice skating, been to the park with her new scooter, gone on rides and shopping in town and lots of movies on TV.
Alfred has had fun with toys old and new and is more vocal and very active. He loves nothing better than exploring ideally in Vera's room (where he's not allowed, there's even a note on the door!) or to try and climb up the stairs, chew the Christmas tree or eat ash from the fire place - you name it!
He's grown so much. He's one year old next weekend, hard to believe- it's gone so quickly!
Mark and I were lucky to have the whole Christmas break off and enjoyed doing very little, quite needed I think after a busy autumn and Christmas build up.
