a.k.a pyjama party weekend. Mark went down to London this weekend and in order to do something fun together and for Vera to have something to look forward to, Vera and I planned our pyjama party! We changed into pyjamas at 2pm and watched Postman Pat the movie, Paddington and played Just Dance on the wii. We also did a bit of crafts and made popcorn and had a lovely, chilled day! Did I mention that the animals joined in too and that there were party hats? !
Today we've made more crafts, decorated a treasure box, that Vera needs to bring to school (with family photos, holiday memories etc. as a way of sharing memories with new school friends and offer some familiarity for Vera ) and we've also made pancakes, rhubarb crumble and hot air balloons (balooons, paper and sello tape, Vera's own invention )
Such a lovely weekend and so lovely to spend quality time together!
