Things will change in September when Vera starts big school. She is very excited! We're in the catchment area for a very good Infant and Junior school, called Dobcroft, but as there are no guarantees to get in to popular schools, even if you live in the area. So we very very pleased when we found out that she'd got a place in mid April.
I don't know if it's a British thing, just this school or because they're so little when they start, but we've been invited to a great number of induction meetings and settling in sessions, including three parent's evenings, four visits for Vera and a home visit. Vera's new teacher has also been to visit Vera and three of her friends who are also going to Dobcroft, at nursery. Apparently Vera sang to her in Swedish and English and chatted away merrily, so no great concerns :-)

Vad roligt! Kram!! Anna
