Breads and sideboards

Vera had an interupted night, with a bit of a temperature, so was up with daddy for a bit.

We got up at ten to eight and had breakfast together. We have played, baked Irish Soda Bread, been for a walk and a sleep outside. All while Mark was battling with some flat pack furniture.

Vera must hear us say "No" a lot (although we mostly use the Swedish "Nej"), as she knows how to say No and shake her head.  I really dont want to be a negative parent, but on the other hand, TVs, cables, recycling can be dangerous, so she needs to learn the no go areas.

She's also trying out her voice and experimenting, so there is a lot of babbling, shouting, yelling as well as soft singing.

Dinner was a roast haddock with chick peas, chorizo and roast peppers. Healthy and yummie! Vera was watching Postman Pat (see previous post) and munched on red pepper and her favourite cheese!

Soda bread with added seeds. (I used this recipe, but swapped some of the white flour for whole meal
