On Saturday it was my turn to celebrate my birthday!Woke up early and was waiting patiently in bed while Mark was up in the attic retrieving presents and preparing. After a while I got surprise with presents, cards, a cup cake with a candle and birthday hugs and kisses from Vera and Mark!
Downstairs there was a very large present waiting for me from Mark!
We went out for lunch, Terese joined us and then we went down to the Shelford Feast for a couple of hours. We had heavy rain and warm sunshine, intermittent, but we sat under a marquee so all was well!
Had a lazy evening at home with pizza and treats, so all in all an excellent birthday!
Today, Sunday, has been filled with shopping, meatball making (!) and a long walk when the sun finally decided to come out! It was eerie and empty outside and noone in the playground, as it coincided with the Wimbledon final!
My birthday present!
Vera and I shopping in the rain
Before bed time
Eating something!
Finishing off daddy's corn on the cob, Friday night
This is funny as last year Mark posted a photo of Vera holding a cob with the caption "I wish I had teeth" and this year, she's able to gnaw on it
The birthday girl, in my magician's cardigan, as Mark calls it!
