Weekend!

We've had a lovely weekend so far! Yesterday morning Vera and I attended Ben's (from the NCT classes) baptism in Fisher House, the Catholic Chaplaincy to the University of Cambridge. Within 2 minutes of entering the chapel, Vera had chewed up the baptism programme. After the baptim we toasted Ben with a bit of bubbly and then there was a buffet.

It was lovely and sunny so it was great to wander round Market Square before the Christening. As I like my sleep, I can honestly say that I have never been in town on a Saturday just after 10am pre-Vera!

Ana came early afternoon and we went for coffee and cake and then played with Vera and ate lots. Ana had brought olives from her mum and dad's home in Portugal  -  a real treat!

Here are a few photos from the day. Vera in her beautiful and funky Polarn O Pyret dress from moster Catrine that she wore at the baptism and got many, many compliments for. Ana giving Vera her evening bottle after her bath. I also found a radio station for Christmas - Smooth xmas. Feels a tad early to start listening to a Fairytale of New York, but not long now!
