This morning we went to the annual Daffodil Weekend in a village called Thriplow nearby.

It's still cold and spring is in hiding, grey and a bit of drizzle from time to time.
We met up with Nick and Lu as well as Liz and James plus Alex and Ben of course, all from our NCT group. Vera, Mark and I went for a horse and carriage ride, we met some owls from the Raptor Foundation, had hog roast for lunch and Vera and the boys played some football.
Once home I've been busy baking Swedish cinnamon buns for a cake sale at work tomorrow where the proceeds are going to the Eve Appeal charity.
