Hip Scan

Today we've been back at Addenbrooke's Hospital, this time for a scheduled Ultrasound of Vera's hips.
The whole thing was very straight forward, we had to remove Vera's trousers, put her on her side and open up her nappy. Then the lady performing the scan applied a bit of gel and scanned her hip, very similar to the 12- and 20-week scans during pregnancy. We repeated the exercise on the other hip. The whole procedure took no more than 10 minutes and we were told that everything looked good. The official results will be sent to our GP.
That's a relief!
