Therese Birthday

Vera has been an angel all day for mummy! In the morning we went to a babies group in Sawston with Claire and baby Alice from the village. Afterwards Mark, who had taken today off, and I had some birthday cake and coffee. We went out for birthday lunch and Vera slept through the whole thing (as you can see in the photo below). This is very different from the last couple of days where she has been awake and eating for most of the day.. Perhaps it was a special birthday treat for me!

On a different note, I am getting a bit worried about her stork bite or strawberry mark that she has above her right eye. It has been getting redder lately and I just hope it wont grow too much in size. We're seeing the doctor next week for our six week check up so we'll know more after that.

Tomorrow we are going to the hospital for Vera's hip scan. She's having the scan as she was born breech and the midwife noticed that her hips were slightly "clicky" when she was signed out from hospital.
