Vera's jabs on Tuesday went well, no side effects at all, if anything they had a calming influence. On Tuesday night we went into town and met Pat, Ken and Ciara at their hotel for a couple of drinks. It was lovely to see them again!
Wednesday day time was spent calling round the houses about passports, Swedish registration numbers etc (this is a whole different story - for another time).
In the evening, Mark took Ciara to see Harry Potter at the cinema and Pat, Ken, Vera and I enjoyed the sunshine outside the Anchor as well as looking at punting tourists. Vera was a good girl, used to being out in pubs! :-)
On Thursday Mark had the day off work and we all went to Grantchester for tea and scones. After refreshments we stumbled upon a stall hosted by the Rapture Foundation, complete with four owls and a falcon! We all got to hold and pet the tame owls, to Ciara's great delight! A highlight on her holiday I'm sure!
